Once the hose has been chosen, the type of fittings to be used must be determined. The choice of fitting type depends on the type of pipe, size, thread, reference standard and type of application. To guarantee a better functioning of the assembled hose, the compatibility between the hose and the fittings to be used must be verified, with particular attention to the working pressures.
The standard fittings of hydraulic systems can be American (NPTF-NPSF-NPSM -ORB-JIC-ORFS etc.), British (BSPP-BSPT), French (GAS 24°), German (DIN) and Japanese (JIS – KOMATSU).
